Doterra Petitgrain is an essential oil that’s sourced from the leaves of a tree. This unique oil eases feelings of tension, calms the nervous system and promotes restful sleep. Often called the “mans Lavender” it has a sweet woodsy smell.

Physical Uses

Some days we just need to relax. dōTERRA Petitgrain essential oil helps promote feelings of relaxation. Very helpful in creating a calm, environment. Two ways to use this oil is diffusing it with Lavender and Bergamont before going to bed. Combining a few drops with dōTERRA Fractionated Coconut Oil for a relaxing foot massage. It even helps promote healthy skin! Add a few drops to Fractionated Coconut Oil and apply to help reduce the appearance of skin imperfections.

Our favorite 10 ML roller ball for deep relaxing sleep is 15 Drops Petitgrain, 15 drops Vetiver trope with FCO apply nightly before bed to your feet and base of spine.

In addition, it blends well with warm essential oils such as Cinnamon Bark or Cassia oil. The fresh, floral notes of Petitgrain oil also make it a perfect companion for essential oils like Geranium or Eucalyptus.
