Doterra Sandalwood Essential Oil: Physical and Emotional Uses

Updated: Jun 28, 2023

Why we love it?

We have been using Sandalwood for a few years now. I add it to many of my skin care products and now in my hair. It adds extra shine and moisture. I love Hawaiian Sandalwood it has a sweet smell that is soothing and comforting. Indian Sandalwood is more woodsy (and lovely). While sandalwood is one of the pricier oils it is worth every penny. Remember one to 2 drops is all your need in most applications.

Physical Benefits

“One of the top benefits of this oil is the ability to promote a smooth complexion and healthy looking skin. Add dōTERRA Sandalwood to your skincare routine to enjoy newly rejuvenated skin. Take advantage of the grounding benefits by diffusing Sandalwood at bedtime to promote a relaxing environment for a good night’s sleep.”

Known for its grounding and balancing benefits. Add a drop or two to your bath. SPritz on your pillow and sheets before bed. Useful in mediation or yoga practice inhale directly from the bottle or diffuse before bed to calm the mind.

Gardeners best friend. Spray plants to help with pest control and help plants manage environmental threats.

My very favorite recipe. It is one of my favorite DIY’s
