When I started my journey into Essential oils it was because one drop of deep blue took away the tension I had on my chest in less that 20 seconds.  One drop all natural and it worked? Not possible? It is all in your head, the placebo effect? OK maybe but the 2nd and 3rd time I did it I was pretty convinced.

I wanted to learn more and I did and now I have this amazing arsenal of oils that I grab before ever reaching for any OTC medication or even a phone call to the DR.  Imagine if it was that simple.  There are so many uses for every oil I am always amazed.

Everyone I know has a “go to” oil the one they find takes care of the most things for them personally.

I have a few but Peppermint is the one I use the most.  One drop of  DōTERRA Peppermint Oil will make 26 cups of tea.  This is how concentrated these oils are. We use peppermint oil nearly every day at our house.  Here are some examples of how we use it.

*Head Tension: A drop on your temples, back of neck, a roll across your forehead.

*Tummy Troubles:  a drop in your belly button, roll over your stomach, apply to bottom of your feet. This is amazing for children you can help them in seconds.  Add a drop to 4 oz of water and drink for instant safe relief.

*Overheating: due to Menopause or Exercise. Apply to back of neck, base of spine, feet

*Wake up: apply a drop to your palm rub hands together and inhale long deep breaths  it will help you stay alert, diffuse when you are preparing a speech or for a test.  Great for home work areas.

Fresh Breath: a drop on your tongue of in a glass of water freshens breath for hours.

Peppermint oil is in most kits and is a must for every house hold.

Remember it makes a very big difference what brand Essential oils you are using.  I only recommend Doterra for my claims above.
