What if you had a Accountabilty Partner.

Do you think it would help if you had a Accountabilty Partner?

No matter what you are trying to accomplish: weight loss, business, activity, organization…..would having some one to help benefit you. I know if I tell someone I am going to do something I get it done. Where if I am the only one who knows my goals and I have no one to answer to I am less likely to go after it.

Finding a Partner

This is actually really important. First this person is NOT responsible for reaching out to you. For checking on you to make sure you did it. They are not your cheerleader. (They can be) But that is NOT their job. It needs to be a person that will not help you make excuses for why you didn’t accomplish your goal for the day. (Your mom, dad, best friend or spouse may not be your best choice here)

How does it work?

Each day you choose 2 things you will do today.

Examples:

Weight loss?

Drink 64 ounces of water, Walk 30 minutes, eat 5 servings of fruits and veggies.

Business?

Call 5 people, answer all my emails, reach out to 3 clients

Organizing?

Clean 2 drawers, Clear out my phone numbers, go through the pantry

Easy enough: for 30 days each morning you text your 2 things you will do to your partner by 9 am. (KNOW your day if it is a crazy busy day dont say you will go to the gym for 2 hours). Then at the end of the day before 9 Pm you text them and tell them you are DONE! ✅

Your Partners Responsibility

Your Partner is not responsible for your success or to coddle or make excuses for you when you don’t accomplish it. It is not their job to be your cheerleader (however they can be). They are there to help you be accountable.

3 Strikes you are out!

This is important too. You and you alone are choosing your goals for the day. If you don’t report in or don’t accomplish them you get 3 times. After that you will have proven you are not into your own goals. If it is IMPORTANT to you, you will Work hard to accomplish your daily goals. As I said before you are in complete control of what you chose as your two daily goals. So know your day if it is crazy busy chose goals that are challenging but easy enough to do. If you have a free day go for it make those 2 goals driven!
